Fire Science Operations

The Fire Science Career Certificate is a certificate that reflects the functioning of operational firefighting on the ground. The credits earned in this certificate may be applied toward the Associate in Applied Science Degree in Fire Science Technology.

Upon successful completion of the program students will be able to: 

  • Explain the need for effective delegation of tasks in the fire services.
  • Describe the need for effective resource management in the fire service.
  • Explain the importance of ethical decision making in the fire service.
  • Explain the role of a company officer within the Incident Management System.
