Course Withdrawal Restrictions In Specific Programs

Nurse Education

Nursing students may repeat, with permission from the Associate Dean, only one clinical nursing course due to either withdrawal or grade of “D” or “F”.  A nursing student who has a second withdrawal or grade of “D” or “F” in the same or any subsequent clinical nursing course may not continue in the program.

 

Health Information Management

Courses with an “HIT” course code may be attempted a maximum of two times. Course withdrawals represented by a “W” on the transcript are counted as an attempt. A student who has a second withdrawal or second attempt with a grade of “D” or “F” in the same course may not continue in the HIT degree or Medical Coding Certificates.

 

Radiography

Radiography students may repeat, with permission from the Program Director, only one Radiography course due to either withdrawal or grade of “F”. A student may only be enrolled in the Radiography Program two (2) times.
