All first-time, full-time students are required to provide proof of immunization for measles, mumps, and rubella, and they must provide evidence of a second dose of a live measles-containing vaccine. Students under the following conditions are exempt:
1. Born before 1957.
2. Medical exemption (a statement from the student’s physician to the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs, Room A-230).
3. Religious exemption (a statement from an official of the student’s religious institution to the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs, Room A-230).
Additionally, a revision of the New Jersey College Immunization regulations mandates that all new first-time, full-time students, regardless of age entering PCCC beginning with the Fall 2008 semester, must provide proof (in addition to the above-listed immunizations) of a complete Hepatitis B series within 9 months of attendance. Students who do not comply with this state-mandated requirement may jeopardize their registration (subject to NJ regulations). For more information, please contact the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs, Room A-230 at 973-684-6309 or email@example.com.
