Admissions Policy

All persons who have earned a high school diploma or General Education Diploma or who are at least 18 years of age will be welcomed at Passaic County Community College, as space and budget permit.

In programs where demand exceeds space available, Passaic County residents will be given priority over those applicants who do not reside in Passaic County. Admission to the College does not guarantee admission to programs with special admissions requirements.  All students must take a placement exam unless exempt according to PCCC Placement Policy.

High school juniors and seniors who seek credits prior to graduation may apply to the College’s Dual Enrollment Program or Early Admission Program.  Both programs require students to be able to benefit from an adult learning environment.
