Associate in Arts Degree, English
The Associate in Arts, English Degree is offered to students who wish to transfer to a four-year college with English Literature and/or Writing as an area of focus. The credits listed the degree are part of the total credits required to graduate.
The Associate in Arts Degree is offered to students who choose a general Liberal Arts program and wish to transfer to a four-year college. Associate in Science Degree (A.S.)
The Associate in Science Degree is also offered to students who wish to transfer to four-year colleges. Each associate in science degree program requires a General Education core of thirty (30) credits. Students may choose to earn an A.S. in the following disciplines:

Graduates will be able to:
- Demonstrate understanding of basic scientific laws and theories.
- Apply the scientific method to problem solving.

- Perform scientific investigations while properly utilizing laboratory equipment and instruments in a safe and effective manner.
- Analyze experimental data based on recording observations and collecting data.
- Write lab and class reports using scientific terminology.

Associate in Applied Science Degree (A.A.S.)
This degree is for students who plan to enter a career field upon graduation. Students who wish to continue studies leading to a four-year degree should know that four-year colleges usually decide on a course-by-course basis whether to accept credits for transfer. Each associate in applied science degree program requires a General Education core of twenty (20) credits as well as courses in career or technical areas.
