MA 010 - Basic Mathematics

( 4 :1 :0 ) 4.5 credits

This course covers the application of basic computational skills necessary to solve problems encountered in life and work situations. Topics include proportions, geometry applications, graphs, and introduction to algebraic concepts. Fifteen hours of supervised lab is required. A grade of “C” or higher is required for movement to a higher level and for completion of a requirement. This course is an acceleration of the MA 010A/MA 010B sequence, allowing placed students to complete the material in 1 semester.
