This course is to be taken in the final semester of study.
This course enables students to utilize all the skills, techniques and information they have gathered during their studies in the Video Production Applied Science degree program. Students in their final semester, under the guidance of a faculty adviser, are required to use the full scope of their academic training to conceive, write, produce and edit a final video project. Students will create a distribution channel for their completed project on an agreed upon video social media platform to market and gain exposure of their video project to a mass audience. Students will utilize this channel to make a final presentation to the faculty, who will critique the project’s content, approach, production quality and degree of professionalism on the basis of program outcomes and scoring rubric.
