COM 108 - Video Content Distribution
This course addresses the end phase of media production, delivery and distribution. Students will be introduced to the theory and platforms related to the delivery of video content through various distribution channels, including: streaming video websites, internet-enabled set-top boxes, mobile devices, cable, over-the-air TV and self-publishing platforms. Students will also learn how to monetize video content utilizing various marketing methods, including affiliate marketing. They will also learn about the ancillary revenues available for content including, Merchandising, Video Games, Hotels, Airlines and other markets.
