MA 025A - Algebra A

( 3 :1 :0 ) 3.5 credits

This course is an introduction to the fundamental concepts and processes of elementary algebra. Topics include the properties of real numbers, algebraic expression, linear equations, polynomials, graphing of linear equations and methods of solving linear systems. Fifteen hours of supervised lab is required. A grade of “C” or better is required for movement to a higher level for completion of a requirement. This course is the 1st part of the 2 semester algebra sequence and is the pre-requisite for college level math for students requiring MA 101, MA 102 or MA 103.

MA 010 - Basic Mathematics
MA 010B - Basic Mathematics B
