MA 150 - Discrete Structures

This course introduces students to the theoretical foundations of Computer Science. It exposes them to reasoning in a systematic way when describing algorithms and other Computer Science applications. The students will also be introduced to a variety of topics including: sets, relations, logic proofs, functions, permutations, recursion, trees, graphs, groups, languages, finite-state machines, and computability. See CIS 250. Offered nights only in the Fall.
