North Jersey Imaging Academy

The North Jersey Imaging Academy, a partnership between Passaic County Community College and County College of Morris, offers certificate courses in Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography, and Cross-Sectional Anatomy. These certificate programs offer didactic (lecture) courses that meet the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) requirements for structure education and are approved for continuing education credits by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). In addition, the program offers clinical education in CT, MRI and Mammography. Applicants must meet the requirements of our clinical partners.

Lecture classes will be held during the evening (6:00 - 9:00 pm), at the

Clinical education will be offered during the day, evening and weekend hours, and scheduled by program coordinators with the approval of the clinical education center. 

Registration Requirements

Applicants must be ARRT certified in one of the primary imaging modalities and hold a current NJ Department of Environmental Protection license.  Candidates will be accepted into program on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Cross Sectional Anatomy October 1 - December 17, 2020 
- Computed Tomography (CT)  October 5 - December 16, 2020   
- Computed Tomography Clinical  Begins after successful completion of CT Lecture Course
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Spring 2021
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging Clinical  Begins after successful completion of MRI Lecture Course
- Mammography   Spring 2021
- Mammography Clinical  Begins after successful completion of Mammography Lecture Course
